Not only is Thanksgiving super delicious, but it's also very stressful. Between the cooking, cleaning and setting up, Thanksgiving can be more than just a big feast. However I think I have a few ideas on how to help you make Thanksgiving a whole lot less stressful, and a bit more filling.
Use Aluminum 1-time containers Yes, yes I know what you're thinking. More $$$$, but I guarantee that you'll save more time and stress. 1 time use containers are very helpful because it limits on the amount of dishes you'll have. Trust me, sometimes the littlest things make a hug impact Use Plastic/Silicone Cookware Using plastic or silicone cookware may help with the cleanup a little bit. Silicone cookware especially tends to be very easy to wash off. Just running some water right over and then wiping it with a soapy towel may help save you time, instead of scrubbing those typical metal cookware items. Try Brining! If you don't usually brine your turkey the night before. You're missing out my friend. Not only is brining delicious, but it's also a time saver. Making a brine is super easy and with the right recipe it's super delicious. Brining a turkey the night before will help you the next day. You can put your turkey in the oven early in the morning, take a nap, and make your side dishes. The best part about brining is that you can use a cooking bag. This means you don't have to get up every 15 minutes to baste your turkey. I hope some of these tips/cheats will help you and your family this year! I make mine at my home in Germany. I use 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper on turkey and cook for 10 hours on 450 degrees.
